agoda.com Giveaways at the Travel Channel Thailand Launch Party

Agoda.com, Asia’s global hotel booking site and part of Nasdaq-listed priceline.com Inc. (Nasdaq:PCLN), recently took part in the Travel Channel Thailand launch party staged in Bangkok at Siam Paragon's Fashion Hall.

Onlookers watched down from Paragon's upper levels to catch a glimpse of the celebrities in attendance at the March 15 grand opening event. The launch was a star-studded occasion that included a special performance by the Sincharoen Brothers and interviews with musician/producer Joey Boy and actress Nicole Terio.

The evening's events also included highlights of Travel Channel Thailand's feature programs and introductions to their star presenters. Travel Channel Thailand is aired on True Vision channel 73 and is the only 24/7 Thai TV channel devoted entirely to travel.

To celebrate the launch, Agoda.com and a selection of Agoda.com hotel partners sponsored prizes for a lucky draw. The grand prizes included holiday packages at the Hilton Maldives Irufushi, the Hotel de le Paix in Seam Reap, and the Regal Kowloon Hotel in Hong Kong.

Agoda.com gave away two prizes of 10,000 Agoda Rewards points each – the prizes going to Khun Sinsupoj Charoenkulthawat from Zenith Optimedia and Khun Pakkawan Sangounpong from Six Senses Resort & Spa. Khun Pakkawan commented: "I'm glad to get this prize as I have plans to enjoy shopping in Hong Kong in July or August and can use the points for hotel booking."

The lucky winners can redeem their Rewards points at thousands of hotels worldwide.
